If  you live to far to come get your new puppy, we will ship him/her Pet Air at 8 weeks, weather permitting, at all costs incurred by the buyer.

A strict rule that the airlines have is that air temperatures must be no higher that 85 degrees on the ground on all legs of the trip.  This makes summer shipping a bit tricky.  If you're considering getting a pup in the summer, please keep in mind that shipping is only possible during windows of cool spells that may put your pup to you at older than 8 weeks.

Pups that are born early in the year and are to be shipped in the cold of early spring are given plenty of opportunity to experience the weather.  Spring shipping is not so much a problem as a "acclimation certificate" is available from the vet at the time of obtaining the health certificate.  Health certificates which are mandated by the airlines cost $35.00.

Costs for shipping a pup can be minimized by two ways

(1) if you purchase your own kennel - shipping to me before the flight  via UPS or USPS or

(2) returning to me the kennel your pup was shipped in via UPS or USPS.

It's our goal to give the pups experience with the kennel.  One is available, door opened, for play.  And on occasion put a few pups in and shut the door for a bit.

For shipping, we like to use a bigger kennel.  This gives the pups plenty of room to move around and they don't feel boxed in.  In the bottom of the kennel, we place old towel for comfort and to absorb any leaks.   The kennels will have two cups attached to the door - one for food and one for water. A bag of food will be attached to the kennel in the event that that the pups will need to be fed in transit. Average cost for kennel is $30.00.

Shipping, including health certificate, kennel and freight will roughly cost between $170-250 depending on destination and your personal options regarding the kennel.
